“ What timing! My friend happened to bring me here while a HUGE Latin dance event in Aurora was going on, so it was practically empty at La Rumba. We had no idea until we finished the fantastic group bachata lesson. The social dance technically started but no one showed up. It felt awkward, so we sat around for a little and enjoyed well drinks from the bar, then headed home. Latin dance isn't my favorite, so I'm not sure if I would come back regularly, but I would once to see how fun the social dance can get! ”

The instructor was great and broke everything down slowly so that everyone could understand, making us feel very comfortable. I really saw all levels in the class from beginner to advanced so don't feel nervous if you're just looking to try something new. And there was a pretty even mix of women and men so you can practice together (and maybe even find your next cute date ). I really enjoyed the music they played and had so much fun! ”

“ I was an unfortunate duck with two left feet, for as long as I remember. Then I had a friend who blessed me with a dream to dance!I've heard about La Rumba for years, but I never had the cajones to actually show up and get your groove on! I also had a goal to get over dance anxiety, embrace anxiety and Salsa/ Bachata dance lessons were my ticket to shine!! Street parking and a cover fee at $15.00 for 1 hour dance lesson, a dress code requirement and an entry to dance the entire night! The people are alive and very friendly and super comfortable being okay with two left feet. These dance lessons have some wonderful dance instructors and they make the two left feet in me want to come out and find my rhythm. La Rumba is 21+ with a full bar with dance floor. The restrooms and dance hall are super clean-- they have a VIP dancing area! The lights, the music make me escape from the every day 9-5 day job! I love the fun, the rebellious dance lessons and sexy swaying in all of us! The best part is being yourself. This isn't like Dancing With The Stars!! Everyone is here to learn, from all different ages, backgrounds of dancing, no dancing at all-- you name it! Everyone is here with a purpose. The goal is to keep coming! Don't give up! ”

“ We went here for a salsa class on a Thursday night and can say we weren't disappointed. For complete beginners and professional teachers we were able to grasp the hang of a small salsa dance. A lot of fun even though we were very sceptical at first on what to expect. I recommend for anyone thinking of giving it a go. Go with a partner or friends and I'm sure you'll have a blast. It has been announced that they will begin opening as a club next week. I never went to the club nights pre covid so am unable to comment on that. Take a look at the pictures to see what to expect. ”
